Dauphin Hospital Foundation contributes to recent equipment purchases

The Dauphin Hospital Foundation was pleased to recently contribute towards the purchase of two new pieces of medical equipment for Dauphin Regional Health Centre (DRHC) totaling nearly $61,000.
A new portable ultrasound machine and associated equipment was secured at a cost of nearly $54,000. Pictured with the new diagnostic unit are Clinical Resource Nurse Kristen Mallet and Dr. Scott Kish.
The Hospital Foundation was also pleased to recently purchase a specialized Hemodialysis treatment bed earlier in the year, a contribution of just over $6,700. The Iverness treatment chair recliner lies flat for night treatments and can be operated independently by the patient.
Prairie Mountain Health thanks the Dauphin Hospital Foundation for their generous contributions to both of these enhancements to patient/client care.
