About Us

This certainly applies to the ongoing work of the Dauphin Hospital Foundation, first established in September 1988. The Foundation, through charitable support from patients, residents, families and organizations, continues its long-standing legacy of making a difference to health care at Dauphin Regional Health Centre (DRHC).

Instead of ‘planting trees’, the Foundation has worked on behalf of community members and organizations to provide seed funding for specialized hospital equipment, or much needed furniture, that benefits patients and hospital staff alike. Through generous donations, the Foundation has also contributed to visiting physician specialist programs, doctor and nursing staff education needs, student scholarships and other general needs.

The Foundation has committed to providing the public with more information, education and awareness about its work. It wants to further recognize contributions people have made that continue to benefit the Dauphin Regional Health Centre. These benefits extend to the Dauphin Personal Care Home, the Dauphin Community Health Services Building and the Parkland Family Medicine Residency Unit.

The Dauphin Hospital Foundation adopted a new visual identity and logo, based on the ‘tree analogy’. The colours of the leaves within the logo show the growth of the Foundation and the Health Centre, the changes that health care goes through, and continuous renewal.

The Foundation wants to thank all who have helped support this very important legacy over the years. We thank all of our past and present Board members for their dedication to this worthy cause.
