Dauphin Hospital Foundation receives Legion donation

The Dauphin Hospital Foundation was pleased to recently receive a generous donation from the Royal Canadian Legion Dauphin Branch #20 Poppy Fund just prior to Remembrance Day.  The donation, in the amount of $8,650 will be used to purchase three specialized wheelchairs for the Dauphin Regional Health Centre.

Johnson says the donation was a result of ongoing contributions received through their Poppy Fund collections.  The local Legion wanted to ensure funds this year were used to purchase three new wheelchairs with some special features on them to assist those in need at Dauphin Regional Health Centre.  Both the Dauphin Hospital Foundation and Prairie Mountain Health sincerely thank the Dauphin Legion Branch #20 for their heartfelt contribution.
